Sidney Crosby???? I thought you were a Canes fan......would have loved to see the Ovechkin/Crosby matchup the other night. Caps were ahead by 4 in the second period and lost!!!

Ah, I'm a Canes fan always, but more importantly a HOCKEY fan! Of course I was rooting for Pittsburgh for several reasons: first, Caps are in our Division and on our tails, so I need them to lose! Second, Staal's brother is on the Pens. Third, Crosby is by FAR the most impressive young talent I've seen since following hockey, and I love to watch him play.

It was a great game...Very entertaining! Every one of my friends is arguing with me about the Crosby/Ovechkin rivalry, but I stand firm in my decision that Crosby is more poised and a better all-around player. I can't see Ovechkin as Captain material, just as a Jagr-type scoring machine.

JustMe, I'm going to the game tonight...it should be intense with all of the old Canes players returning. Did you know Bates owns a very successful sports bar here in Raleigh?
