All right, kids. I am back in full swing. My store is in hiatus. Latest news is that I might open on Black Friday, which is crazy and unheard of in the retail world, but hey...it's be a guaranteed success. Wedding plans are ripening quickly. We're still searching for a cake. Meeting a DJ today. Freaking out about doing my flowers myself. Freaking out about how expensive flowers are, even if you do them yourself. Bought the bachelorette airplane tickets. Picked out flower girl dresses for my mom to sew. Just realized I have to address 100 invites in the next 3 weeks. Holy Crap.

Have you looked into getting flowers from a wholesaler? That's much cheaper than from a store.

Well, my friends...first things first. There's already a Hurricanes fan store, and due to spending money on Stanley Cup tickets, I have not been frequenting it (although I do have a hat, a t-shirt, and a commemorative pin for my jersey). Ooooh, did you see that we raise our banner on opening night playing against who else...Buffalo! And Mark Rechhi is expensive and wants to retire with the Pens, as is Doug Weight and his Blues, and we are a nice organization and love them both for what they gave us, but even in the South, hockey fans understand that a Stanley Cup team is a Stanley Cup team, and alas must part ways. I'm royally PISSED about Matt Cullen, however!

I am the new Store Manager of a new store for the company I already work for, but someone forgot to get a permit for said new store, so I'm in limbo until construction starts and I can start hiring!

GE- I AM getting them through a wholesaler. Unfortunately, I am blessed with immaculate taste, and calla lilies are, at minimum, $3 a stem, even through a wholesaler! Can you believe it? Why can't I be cheesy and just go for roses?

WH- I doubt DJ Groovy Slug travels this far, and I probbaly can't afford her, anyway!

But thanks for your suggestions, guys!

I was actually enjoying a (few) beers when I sat down the other night. Not all at the same time, though. Just one after another.

Maybe busty has something to do with it, after all. They get in the way of my typing, yeah, that's it.
